MENTAL HEALTH

GOAL: Optimize mental health among members of the Green County community.

Led by the Green County Mental Health Matters group, this priority brings our community together monthly on the third Monday to create change and make progress on goals and objectives that Improve mental health across Green County, Mental health conditions were identified as the top health concern in Green County, with over half of the Community Health Assessment survey respondents highlighting it as a primary issue. Challenges include limited access to mental health providers, stigma surrounding mental health, and insufficient integration of mental health services into primary care. These barriers contribute to unmet mental health needs and impact overall community health
